    Facts On Italian Easter Dinner

    It is outdoors the Italians favoured to hold the dinners of the Easter in the beginning. Recently they have begun to hold it indoors though holding them outdoors is not a bad idea. The only thing is that the weather should be suitable for the event.

    Before the actual dinner starts you need to clean the outdoors and the indoors. This has to be necessarily done in order to wash off all the filth that is caused by the winter storms. On that account spring cleaning precedes the Easter dinner.

    Italians would like to use colour during the Easter feast. They put on colours from the pastel colour palette to the dinner table. They prefer a feast for the eyes too along with the feast for their stomachs during the dinner. Dinner tables are adorned with tulips and a wonderful ambiance is formed. Colour lamps and lights light up the area to add beauty to the already gorgeous area.

    The Italians revel in the embellishment of the dining tables further apart from the food items placed on these tables. The dining table is covered by a linen of yellow that acts as the table cloth. This is done for white shows up brightly against yellow surface.

    Pink linen napkins are a common sight, folded in half almost like a tight cylinder. They even make use of a contrasting colour paper twist to tie the napkins that act as a garnishing element. Everything surrounding the dinner table will be enhanced with pastel colours that will help to cheer up the mood and rejuvenate the senses. The Italians usually have a little Easter egg hunt activity for any of the children attending the dinner.
