    How to Fight Off Wrinkles with Healthy Foods

    Healthy foods are not the most well liked. But, they can certainly be very good with very little involved. If you are having difficulty forcing down fruit instead of fruit-flavored creamsicles, then consider using this information to give yourself a little extra motivation.

    There are so many healthy foods that also fight off signs of aging and wrinkles. In fact, if you eat right it can help you look young and live longer.     If you want to fight the effects age has on you, then add the following foods to your diet:

    Oranges, grapefruits and other citrus fruits
    Vitamin C is contained in all citrus fruits, including oranges. Vitamin C is one of the best healers out there when it comes to literally sealing up wrinkles and cracks in your skin. Topical vitamin C has long been used in anti-aging creams. However, the ability to heal from within is also important and eating oranges will give you a major dose of this vitamin.

    Walnuts
    Walnuts have some of the most antioxidants. Which can make them great suppliers of cancer fighting compounds. Not only will they keep skin cancer from developing, they can also fight discoloration and other types of environmental weathering.

    Green tea
    Green tea has long been known as a great source of antioxidants.

    Almonds
    Almonds are very well known for the amount of vitamin E they contain. Scars and stretch marks will be diminished when applying vitamin E topically. Using vitamin E topically an diminish the appearance of age spots. Nevertheless, take vitamin E internally and it will really prevent these marks from happening.

    (Note: if you are going to have surgery soon, ask your doctor about the appropriate amounts of vitamin E for your diet. Extra vitamin E can actually make people bleed more, so you may want to stop taking it or any other supplements at this time)
