Make a Donation
Every financial contributor—from young students collecting coins in their classroom to major corporate and foundation funders — wants to be sure that their donation is making a difference.
The Food Rescue ‘model’ has been time-tested and proven in other markets both in Michigan (e.g. Forgotten Harvest, Hidden Harvest, etc.) and throughout the country. Our goal is to achieve their collective efficiencies, which is that 94% of each donated dollar goes directly to our food rescue program and our rescue/deliver internal cost will be just 16 cents per pound. This means that each dollar donated provides six healthy meals to people in need.
We are privileged and fortunate to have some early contributors who stand together with us in our fight against hunger and waste. We pledge our passion for fiscal responsibility by maximizing each and every donation so we may continue our mission to relieve hunger in our community through our surplus food rescue program.
