This concept comes from Doing Good Works : tiny Acts which make a major difference. You find an orphanage in another country, like the Cali Orphanage in Columbia, and contact the people that run it, asking what they require. Then you get your mates together to contribute things for the package.

    Fundraising activities have potential to be successful or terribly unsuccessful, and it customarily relies on some factors, including excitement, freshness, simplicity of use, efficiency, fun, info, and so on. There are many things you can do to ensure the success of your fund raising activities. One of them is to actually put some thought into why people give and how folk give. A few of the people in your neighborhood may only give to childrens charities. Other might prefer to give to an education charity. Others may give to animals. If you inform the community about the value and reasons for your charity, how it may work with, benefit, or take some of the burden off other childrens charities, an education charity, animal charities, charities for the old, etc, folk may become pretty generous when they know how things fit together. Education and communication are commonly the keys.
